Eighth grade assignment: watch the following two videos on the problem of evil, and answer the following on looseleaf:

1) What is the syllogism for the problem of evil?

2) Explain why this syllogism seems to have good argumentative force at first glance

3) What are Fr. Barron’s and Dr. Craig’s responses to the problem contained in the syllogism?

4) Are you convinced?  Explain your answer.
