1) Why do you think God sent the prophet Nathan to David?
2) What else could God have done to ‘fix’ the problem David caused?
3) Why did God not simply leave David alone? Would leaving him alone have been a more or less loving thing for God to do? Explain your reasoning

6th: Read Genesis 32:1-21, and answer the following in your notebook:
1) Jacob is doing something in this passage that we should be doing during Lent. What is it? (if they need a hint it begins with a R)
2) Why do you think Jacob wanted to contact Esau after all the years he had been away from home?
3) What do you think Esau’s reaction might be?
4) What would your reaction be if you were in Esau’s place?
5) Did Jacob have to seek his brother out, or should he have just left him alone? Explain your answer.
