OK Confirmandi (that’s all of you 8th graders preparing for Confirmation), it’s time to write your letter to the bishop requesting the sacrament of Confirmation.  What it should look like is detailed below:

Typed, one to 1.5 page letter to Bishop Campbell, addressing the following:

1. Introduce yourself
2. Request the sacrament
3. Tell what you have done to prepare (service activities, what you have been studying about your faith, how your prayer has grown, etc)
4. Thank the bishop for his time
5. Sign the letter

Use standard 12pt, 1 inch margin format, and save this to your computer in case any spelling/grammatical errors need to be fixed.  Due by Monday, 2/12!!
