Extended Day Program

The Saint Bernadette Extended Day Program was created to provide valuable assistance to working families of St. Bernadette School. Our goal is to provide activities within a Catholic environment, complementary to the philosophy and value system of our school.

Activities are designed to be developmentally appropriate and are based in part upon the child’s own needs and interests. Although non-academic in nature, the curriculum offers a structured balance of play, creative activities and homework, all supervised by a qualified and caring staff.

The program is open to St. Bernadette school students only.  Admission is on a space available basis. We also have some space for children to “drop in” occasionally. Registration for EDP occurs at the same time as school registration. There is a $100.00 registration fee per family.   • Before School Care Program from 7:15 until 8:00 a.m.
  • If Montgomery County Schools have a one- or two-hour delayed opening, the “Before School” program will also have a one- or two-hour delayed opening.
  • After School Care Program from 3:05 to 6:00 p.m.
  • If school is dismissed early due to inclement weather, EDP will remain open for three hours after the end of the school day. (See EDP handbook)

Registration Fee: $100.00 per family (non refundable)

Late pick up EDP: $15 per child for every 5 minute interval after 6:00 p.m.

Rates for 2018-2019 School Year:

Afternoons (Pricing includes Half Days):

$3,075 per child full week afternoons (3:05-6:00 pm)  per child

$2,900.00  per child 4 days afternoons

$2,505 per child 3 days afternoons

$1,870 per child 2 days afternoons

1/2 Days Only:  $500

Mornings (Pricing includes Half Days):

$1,125 per child full week mornings (7:15-8:00 am)

$900. per child 4 days mornings

$675 per child 3 days mornings

$450 per child 2 days mornings

Plan Change: $50 per change (must be made in writing 30 days in advance)

Drop In rate:$40 per child per use (morning or afternoon)
