OK everyone, here is the assignment due this coming Monday. Many of you already finished it in class in your notebooks, but if not it is due Monday, so be prepared!!
Read Matthew 21:1-11, Mark 11:1-11, and Luke 19:28-44. This is Palm Sunday from 3 points of view. Summarize the events of each account, then for each Gospel passage compare and contrast with the other 2 passages. In other words, write what is the same between the passages, and what is unique in each account. Then hypothesize as to why you think there are differences in the accounts (what do you think the human authors were trying to emphasize in each case?). 200-300 words total.
