St. Bernadette School recognizes the parents as the primary educators of their children in the area of spiritual developmentWe support, encourage and expect all Catholic students to participate in Sunday Mass and the Church’s sacraments.
We provide the children with a daily religion class; we also provide opportunities for daily prayer, regular celebration of the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and a weekly celebration of the Eucharist. These do not take the place of Sunday Mass.
Children are prepared for and receive sacraments of Reconciliation, First Eucharist, and Confirmation to enable them to participate in the sacramental life of the Church.
Catholic children may be trained as altar servers for rising 5th graders and older.
We promote the Christian values of integrity, honesty, self-discipline, modesty, faith, hope, and charity, not only in the daily religion classes, but also throughout the curriculum.
